You have a proven track record in sales management, ideally with experience in the tech or design industry — you understand the nuances of engaging with mid-market clients and have a knack for building strong relationships. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including Support, Design, Engineering, and Product Marketing. You are adaptable and agile, comfortable navigating the fast-paced nature of a growing sales organization. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate the value of Figma's platform to both existing and potential customers. Your ability to embrace change and think outside the box sets you apart as a sales leader who can drive results in a competitive landscape.
Desirable
Experience working with Fortune 1000 customers is a plus, as is familiarity with design tools or SaaS products. A background in sales strategy development and execution will help you excel in this role, as will a passion for design and collaboration.
What you'll do
As the Manager of Mid-Market Sales, you will lead a team of Account Executives focused on expanding Figma's footprint in the mid-market segment. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing sales strategies that align with Figma's mission to make design accessible to all. You will consult with customers to understand their needs and drive meaningful relationships that enhance their experience with our platform.
You will be responsible for setting sales targets and ensuring your team meets or exceeds these goals. This involves coaching and mentoring your team members, providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed. You will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience, from onboarding to ongoing support.
Your role will also involve analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth. You will report on your team's performance and provide insights to senior leadership on how to improve sales processes and customer engagement. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, you will help your team adapt to the evolving needs of our customers and the market.
