Who you are
You have a strong background in sales engineering with a focus on enterprise solutions β your experience includes working closely with sales teams to understand complex customer needs and demonstrate how technical solutions can drive business outcomes. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Your technical expertise spans various cloud platforms and data technologies β you are proficient in AWS, GCP, Azure, and have hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake and BigQuery. You are comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments and have a solid understanding of data replication processes.
You thrive in collaborative environments β your ability to work cross-functionally with account executives, professional services, and marketing teams ensures a holistic approach to account management. You are detail-oriented and can identify technical requirements that align with customer goals.
What you'll do
As a Senior Sales Engineer at Fivetran, you will engage with Enterprise customers to understand their unique business challenges and data replication needs. You will showcase Fivetran's solutions through tailored presentations and demonstrations, ensuring that potential clients see the value in our technology. Your role will involve supporting the sales team throughout the proof-of-value process, providing technical insights that help close deals.
You will collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive account ownership plans, ensuring that all aspects of the customer relationship are managed effectively. Your technical expertise will be crucial in identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services to existing clients.
In addition to direct customer interactions, you will contribute to the development of technical documentation and resources that support the sales process.
