Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in sales engineering, particularly within the enterprise sector, and possess the ability to understand complex business needs. Your technical expertise allows you to effectively communicate how data replication solutions can drive business outcomes for customers. You are comfortable presenting to diverse audiences and can run a regimented proof-of-value process throughout the sales cycle.
You have experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, and are familiar with data warehousing solutions like Snowflake and BigQuery. Your knowledge extends to data processing tools like Databricks and Kafka, enabling you to provide comprehensive solutions to clients. You are also proficient in programming languages such as Python and Java, which enhances your ability to engage with technical stakeholders.
Desirable
Experience with data integration and replication technologies is a plus, as is familiarity with APIs and data visualization tools like Grafana. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and success.
What you'll do
In this role, you will collaborate with the Enterprise sales team to understand customer requirements and demonstrate how Fivetran's solutions can meet their needs. You will develop and deliver technical presentations that highlight the value of our data replication technology. Your responsibilities will include managing the proof-of-value process, ensuring that technical wins are achieved throughout the sales cycle.
You will work closely with various internal teams, including Product, Post Sale Services, Support, and Engineering, to ensure that customer solutions are aligned with their business goals. Your role will require you to travel approximately 20% of the time to meet with clients and support sales initiatives.
