Fivetran is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to join their Enterprise sales team. You'll work closely with customers to understand their business needs and showcase Fivetran’s data replication solutions. This role requires expertise in AWS, GCP, and other cloud technologies.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in sales engineering, particularly in the enterprise sector, with a proven track record of understanding complex business needs and translating them into technical solutions. Your experience includes working with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, and you are comfortable presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with sales teams and customers alike.
You are familiar with data replication solutions and understand the importance of ensuring that customer data is reliable and easily accessible. Your technical expertise extends to tools like Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks, which you leverage to demonstrate the value of Fivetran’s offerings. You are also proficient in programming languages such as Python and Java, which helps you engage with technical stakeholders during the sales process.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work closely with Fivetran’s sales team to identify and understand the unique business requirements of enterprise customers. You will develop and deliver compelling technical presentations that showcase how Fivetran’s solutions can meet their needs. Your responsibilities will include running a regimented proof-of-value process throughout the sales cycle, ensuring that technical wins are achieved.
You will collaborate with various internal teams, including Product, Post Sale Services, Support, and Engineering, to ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded. Your role will require you to travel approximately 20% of the time to meet with clients and support sales initiatives in person. You will play a crucial part in helping organizations become data-driven by providing them with the tools they need to manage their data effectively.
