You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the realm of supply chain solutions and fulfillment. With at least 3-5 years of experience, you understand the complexities of global trade and are adept at managing client relationships. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to lead discovery calls and engage effectively with prospects. Your ability to project manage and navigate the intricacies of a global supply chain sets you apart. You are comfortable traveling to meet clients and showcase Flexport's innovative solutions. You thrive in a high-performing team environment and are passionate about building a brand that resonates with customers.
Desirable
Experience with technology-driven supply chain solutions is a plus. Familiarity with logistics and fulfillment processes will enhance your ability to connect with clients. A background in project management or operations can also be beneficial in this role.
What you'll do
As a Global Account Executive at Flexport, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust book of business. Your day-to-day activities will include leading discovery calls with prospects to uncover their supply chain needs and challenges. You will collaborate closely with the Flexport Operations Team to review customer growth strategies and ensure alignment with their supply chain processes. You will also engage in project management, overseeing the complexities of global supply chains and ensuring that client expectations are met. Traveling to meet prospective clients and touring Flexport warehouses will be part of your role, allowing you to provide firsthand insights into our operations. You will share best practices with your team and contribute to the overall success of Flexport's mission to simplify global trade.
