Overview

Formlabs is hiring a Field Service Technician to be the primary technical point of contact across the DACH region. You'll be responsible for the installation, training, and support of 3D printing systems. This role requires significant travel and hands-on technical expertise.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong technical background and experience in field service roles, ideally with hands-on experience in installation and maintenance of complex machinery. You are comfortable traveling frequently, as this role requires you to be on-site at customer locations most of the time. Your communication skills are excellent, allowing you to effectively train and support customers in using 3D printing technology. You are passionate about empowering others and enjoy teaching users how to operate and maintain their equipment. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can solve problems and provide exceptional customer service. You understand the importance of customer satisfaction and are dedicated to ensuring a positive experience for every client.

What you'll do

In this role, you will travel to customer sites to unpack, install, commission, and calibrate new 3D printing systems. You will conduct structured on-site training sessions for new and existing customers, teaching them how to operate the machinery, utilize software, and perform basic maintenance. You will also perform live product demonstrations to inspire confidence in the technology and ensure customers are fully equipped to use the systems effectively. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and performing critical repairs on equipment, ensuring that customers receive timely support and solutions. You will be the face of Formlabs in the DACH region, representing the company with professionalism and expertise. Your role is crucial in building strong relationships with customers and helping them maximize the value of their 3D printing systems.
