Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in cloud native architecture, ideally in a customer-facing or support role. Your background includes cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, and containerization platforms, which you have utilized to engage with technical stakeholders and executive leaders effectively.

Your experience extends to programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, and conducting customer workshops. You have a proven track record of selling technical solutions in areas such as infrastructure modernization, application modernization, data management, and security. You are adept at building long-term technical strategies that help uncover new workloads with customers, and you have hands-on experience migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.

You possess a strong understanding of security concepts, including encryption, identity management, access control, and penetration testing. Your ability to drive the entire business cycle—from defining delivery and consumption plans to transitioning them for execution—sets you apart as a leader in technical engagement.

What you'll do

In this role, you will facilitate the adoption of Google Cloud products by educational institutions, government agencies, and businesses, ensuring their work becomes more productive, mobile, and collaborative. You will listen to customer needs and deliver tailored solutions that enhance their experience with Google Cloud.

You will assist fellow sales Googlers by problem-solving key technical issues for customers, maintaining awareness of progress against delivery plans, and providing support to cross-functional teams during ramp-up, delivery, migration, or implementation phases. Your role will involve leading technical engagements during the solution phase and facilitating post-sales transitions by supporting pricing activities and transitioning final delivery plans to implementation teams.
