Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. With 8 years of experience in test engineering or product engineering, you are well-versed in Automatic Test Equipment, particularly with platforms like Advantest or Teradyne. Your expertise includes Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) or SoC test development, bring-up, or debug for New Product Introduction (NPI) or High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
You hold a Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with a focus on computer architecture. Your experience encompasses testing IP such as Phase-locked Loops (PLL), PVT sensors, Thermal Diodes, and more. You are familiar with Fault Isolation techniques, including Optical Beam Induced Resistance Change (OBIRCH), Emission Microscopy (EMMI), and Lock-In Thermography (LIT).
You have a strong background in Scan/ATPG test development, especially with Streaming Scan Network (SSN) techniques, and Memory BIST test development and repair scheme implementation. Your knowledge extends to testing protocols like PCIE, DDR, and HBM, making you a valuable asset in shaping the future of AI/ML hardware acceleration.
What you'll do
In this role, you will work to shape the future of AI/ML hardware acceleration by driving cutting-edge TPU technology that powers Google's most demanding applications. You will contribute to the development of custom silicon solutions that push boundaries and enhance performance. Your responsibilities will include bench testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing test coverage.
You will manage back-stop support for production, including test program upgrades and releases, volume data analytics, and yield improvement initiatives. Your role will also involve analyzing Defective Parts Per Million (DPPM) correlation and product correlation between system and ATE. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of test strategies and contribute to the overall success of the product lifecycle.
