Who you are
As a Key Holder, you are someone who displays an ability for managerial responsibilities and thrives in a retail environment. You understand the importance of excellent customer service and are eager to engage with customers, providing them with information about products and services. You are reliable, arriving early to open the store and staying late to ensure everything is in order before closing. You are comfortable operating alarm systems and handling cash transactions, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
You possess a strong knowledge of the products offered by Liquor Barn, Party Mart, and DEP'S, allowing you to make informed recommendations to customers. You are proactive in identifying problems with working conditions and communicating these to management. Your ability to drive sales and maintain inventory is crucial to the success of the store, and you take pride in supporting new employees as they learn the ropes.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store, which includes operating the alarm system and ensuring the store is secure. You will assist customers by greeting them and establishing rapport, providing them with information about BRS products and services. During busy periods, you will step in to help manage the store and ensure that customer service remains a top priority. You will also be responsible for replenishing inventory and performing cashier functions, adhering to company policies while completing transactions.
As a Key Holder, you will take on management responsibilities in the absence of the General Manager and Assistant Manager, ensuring that the store runs smoothly. You will be expected to handle various tasks, including lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and maintaining a safe working environment. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers and driving sales through effective product knowledge and customer engagement.
