Who you are
You are a motivated individual who enjoys working in a retail environment and providing excellent customer service. You have a friendly demeanor and are skilled at building rapport with customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. You are knowledgeable about the products offered and can make recommendations to enhance customer satisfaction. You are comfortable handling cash and operating electronic payment systems, ensuring accurate transactions.
You understand the importance of maintaining store cleanliness and safety standards. You are physically capable of lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and can perform tasks that require bending and kneeling. You are a team player who is willing to follow procedures and policies to ensure a smooth operation of the store.
What you'll do
As a Store Associate, you will greet customers and establish rapport while informing them about BRS products and services. You will drive sales across all departments by providing recommendations and ensuring customers are satisfied with their purchases. Your responsibilities will include replenishing inventory, performing cashier functions, and adhering to age verification policies during transactions. You will operate scanners and cash registers, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate while providing customers with receipts.
You will also be responsible for processing refunds and exchanges, balancing the register drawer, and bagging or boxing purchases for safe transport. Following all BRS procedures regarding coupons and gift cards will be essential to your role. You will maintain store safety standards and cleanliness, ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers.
