What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the site. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory matches purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies that arise. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily tasks, as will maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and facility.
You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage by adhering to FIFO practices. This includes contacting customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items and ensuring that products are handled, scanned, and moved in a safe and organized manner. Your role may require you to work in freezer locations periodically, and you will need to be capable of walking several flights of steps throughout the day. Additionally, you will prepare quality beverages and food menu items as needed, contributing to the overall customer experience.
