You are an enthusiastic individual ready to take on the challenges of an Operations Associate role at Gopuff. You are comfortable working with various equipment and handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and alcohol. You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that the sales floor and overall facility are well-kept. You are also capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and standing or walking for the duration of your shift.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order and resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily responsibilities. You will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Additionally, you will contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items and handle, scan, and move products in a safe and organized manner. Your role may require you to work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, and you should be prepared to walk several flights of steps as needed.
