You are capable of managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders while maintaining a clean and organized sales floor. You understand the importance of compliance with FIFO practices to manage waste and spoilage effectively. You are physically fit and able to stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts, demonstrating your commitment to the role. You are also comfortable using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products safely and efficiently.

What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play an essential role in the operations team, directly reporting to a Site Leader. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that all products are handled in a safe and organized manner. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice and resolving any discrepancies that arise. You will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, ensuring that the sales floor remains clean and organized.

You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. In addition, you will contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring that they are informed and satisfied with their orders. Your role will require you to work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, demonstrating your adaptability and willingness to take on various tasks. You will need to be available during peak shifts, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays, showcasing your flexibility and commitment to the team.
