You are adaptable and can work a fluid schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which helps you manage tasks efficiently. Your attention to detail ensures that you accurately receive and unpack pallets of products, matching physical inventory counts with purchase orders. You are committed to maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to FIFO practices to manage waste and spoilage effectively.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory matches the purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies that arise. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will also be part of your daily tasks.
You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and overall facility. This includes managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. You will also handle customer communications regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring that customer satisfaction remains a priority. Your role will require you to handle, scan, and move products safely and in an organized manner, utilizing equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
