You are an enthusiastic individual ready to take on the challenges of an Operations Associate role at Gopuff. Your drive and positivity will help you excel in managing various responsibilities, from picking and packing items to ensuring inventory accuracy. You are comfortable working with a variety of equipment and handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol. You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and you are committed to following safety protocols.
You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which will aid you in managing inventory and communicating with team members effectively. You are flexible with your schedule and can adapt to peak shifts, whether they are in the morning, evening, or on weekends. Your physical stamina allows you to stand, walk, and lift items throughout your shifts, ensuring that you can meet the demands of the role.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice. Resolving discrepancies will be part of your daily tasks, as will managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders. You will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and order.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. You will contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring that communication is clear and effective. Handling, scanning, and moving products safely and efficiently will be essential to your role. You will also prepare quality beverages and food menu items, contributing to the overall customer experience.
