Who you are
You are a motivated individual with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment. You possess a positive attitude and enthusiasm for challenges, making you an ideal fit for the Operations Associate role at Gopuff. You understand the importance of teamwork and are ready to contribute to a dynamic operations team. You are capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand and walk for the duration of your assigned shift. You are flexible with your schedule and can work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable
While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, would be beneficial. You are comfortable working in various environments, including freezer locations, and can manage tasks that involve physical movement and organization.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their everyday essentials efficiently. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders. You will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, clean and organize the sales floor, and manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. You will also be responsible for contacting customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items and handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol. Your role will require you to use carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move products safely and efficiently.
