You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items throughout your shift, and you are comfortable working in various conditions, including freezer locations.
You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which will help you manage tasks efficiently. Flexibility is key, as you are available to work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. You understand the importance of adhering to safety practices and are committed to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will be responsible for a variety of operational tasks that are essential to the success of the team. Your primary duties will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that all products are handled safely and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory matches the purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies that arise.
In addition to managing inventory, you will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will manage waste and spoilage by strictly adhering to FIFO practices, ensuring that products are rotated properly. Communication with customers is also a key part of your role, as you will contact them regarding substituted or out-of-stock items. You will utilize equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products, and you will be expected to handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol.
