Gopuff is hiring an Operations Associate to join their operations team in New York. You'll be responsible for various operations tasks including picking, packing, and managing inventory. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work flexible hours.

Who you are
You are an enthusiastic individual ready to take on the challenges of an Operations Associate role at Gopuff. You possess a drive and perseverance that allows you to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your positivity and enthusiasm for the task at hand make you a valuable team member. You are capable of lifting up to 49 pounds and can stand and walk for the duration of your assigned shift. You are flexible with your schedule and can work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, which helps you manage your tasks efficiently. You are comfortable working in various conditions, including freezer locations, and can handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol. Your ability to communicate effectively with customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items is a key asset in this role.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play an essential role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that all products are handled safely and organized efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice, and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will also be part of your daily tasks.
You will be responsible for cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility, ensuring that everything is in order for a smooth operation. Additionally, you will manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Your role will require you to stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during your shifts, utilizing carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment to move products effectively.
