Who you are
You are an enthusiastic individual ready to take on the challenges of an Operations Associate role at Gopuff. You possess a drive and perseverance that allows you to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your positivity and enthusiasm are key traits that help you tackle the diverse responsibilities of this position. You are comfortable working with various tools and equipment, and you have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications. You are also physically capable of standing and walking for the duration of your assigned shifts, as well as lifting up to 49 pounds.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice, and resolving any discrepancies that arise. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily tasks, along with cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Your role will require you to contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, and you will handle, scan, and move products in a safe and organized manner. Additionally, you may work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, and you will need to be available during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
