You are a motivated individual with a strong drive and enthusiasm for operational challenges. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to take on various responsibilities, including picking and packing items for dispatch. Your positive attitude and perseverance make you a valuable team member. You are capable of managing inventory and ensuring compliance with operational practices, such as FIFO. You enjoy working collaboratively with others, including partner drivers, to ensure customer satisfaction. You are physically fit and able to stand, walk, and lift items as needed throughout your shift.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team. Your primary responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, ensuring that all products are handled safely and efficiently. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, verifying that the physical inventory matches purchase orders and resolving any discrepancies. Additionally, you will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, keeping the sales floor and overall facility clean and organized. You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage, ensuring compliance with FIFO practices. Throughout your shifts, you will utilize various equipment, such as carts and pallet jacks, to move products effectively. Your role may require you to work in freezer locations periodically, and you should be prepared to handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol.
