Gopuff is hiring an Operations Associate to join their operations team in Phoenix. You'll be responsible for picking, packing, and managing inventory while ensuring a smooth operation. This role requires a positive attitude and the ability to work flexible hours.

You are a driven individual with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for challenges. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to take on various operations responsibilities at Gopuff. Your ability to work well with others and communicate effectively will be key to your success in this role. You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting products as needed throughout your shifts. You understand the importance of maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all operations run smoothly.
Desirable
While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, such as Google G-Suite, will be beneficial. You are flexible with your schedule and can work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Your willingness to adapt to changing circumstances will help you excel in this role.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice while resolving any discrepancies. Managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders will be part of your daily tasks, along with cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will also be responsible for managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices. Your role will involve contacting customers for substituted or out-of-stock items and handling, scanning, and moving products in a safe and organized manner. You will use carts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment to move products, and you may work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts.
