You are comfortable working with a variety of tools and equipment, including pallet jacks and carts, to ensure smooth operations.
You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which helps you manage tasks efficiently. You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting items throughout your shift, demonstrating your commitment to the role. Your ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, showcases your dedication to meeting the needs of the business.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches the purchase order or invoice. In case of discrepancies, you will resolve issues promptly to maintain operational efficiency. You will also manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders, ensuring that the sales floor remains organized and clean.
Your responsibilities will include managing waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, which is essential for maintaining product quality. You will be in contact with customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring that their needs are met. Additionally, you will handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently, contributing to a well-organized work environment.
You will be expected to work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, demonstrating your adaptability to different working conditions. Your role will require you to stand, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and walk during shifts, ensuring that you remain active and engaged in your responsibilities. You will prepare quality beverages and food menu items as needed, adding to the overall customer experience.
