You are a motivated individual with a strong drive and enthusiasm for operational challenges. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to take on various responsibilities, including picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. Your attention to detail ensures that you manage inventory effectively and resolve discrepancies with vendors. You are physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting products throughout your shifts, demonstrating your commitment to maintaining a well-organized facility.
You possess a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which aids in your daily tasks. Your ability to work a fluid schedule allows you to be available during peak shifts, ensuring that operations run smoothly. You are comfortable handling products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol, and you understand the importance of compliance with safety practices.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in the operations team by picking and packing items for dispatch to customers. You will receive and unpack pallets of products from vendors, ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders and invoices. Your responsibilities will also include managing inventory and re-shelving canceled orders, as well as cleaning and organizing the sales floor and overall facility. You will handle, scan, and move products safely and efficiently, using equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
You will be expected to manage waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices, ensuring that products are rotated properly. Additionally, you will contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, providing excellent customer service. Your role may require you to work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, demonstrating your adaptability and willingness to take on various tasks.
