Desirable

While not required, having a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications like Google G-Suite will be beneficial. You should be flexible and available during peak shifts, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays. Being physically capable of standing, walking, and lifting up to 49 pounds is essential for this role.

What you'll do

As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their everyday essentials efficiently. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch to customers, receiving and unpacking pallets of products from vendors, and ensuring that the physical inventory count matches purchase orders. You will manage inventory and re-shelving of canceled orders while maintaining a clean and organized sales floor and overall facility. Additionally, you will handle waste and spoilage through strict compliance with FIFO practices and contact customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items. You will also be responsible for safely handling, scanning, and moving products, which may include items that contain tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol. Your role may require you to work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts, and you should be prepared to walk several flights of stairs as needed.
