Who you are
You are a motivated individual who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment. You possess a positive attitude and are ready to take on challenges with enthusiasm. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently is key to your success in this role. You are comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and can lift up to 49 pounds. You have a general working knowledge of basic web-based software applications, which will help you in your daily tasks. Flexibility in your schedule is important, as you may be required to work during peak shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What you'll do
As an Operations Associate at Gopuff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their everyday essentials promptly. Your responsibilities will include picking and packing items for dispatch, receiving and unpacking pallets of products, and managing inventory. You will also ensure that the sales floor and overall facility are clean and organized. Compliance with FIFO practices for managing waste and spoilage is essential. You will handle products that may contain tobacco, nicotine, and/or alcohol, and work in freezer locations periodically throughout your shifts. Your role will require you to use equipment such as carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to move products safely and efficiently. You will also communicate with customers regarding substituted or out-of-stock items, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
