What you'll do

As the first in-house legal counsel at Govini, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the legal strategy of the company. You will work closely with the CEO and Executive Team to provide legal guidance on government contracting, corporate governance, and compliance matters. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on regulatory compliance, and ensuring that the company's operations align with legal requirements. You will also be responsible for identifying potential legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, allowing the company to pursue its growth objectives confidently.

In addition to your legal duties, you will collaborate with various teams across the organization, providing legal insights that support product development and business initiatives. Your role will involve educating team members on legal best practices and fostering a culture of compliance within the organization. You will also represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external legal counsel as needed, ensuring that Govini's interests are well-protected.
