Grafana is seeking a Growth Account Director to prospect and grow existing business across the US. You'll manage forecasts and track customer data while employing a consultative sales approach. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and a strategic mindset.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in a consultative approach, where understanding customer needs is paramount before discussing products. Your experience spans at least 5 years in account management or business development, ideally within the tech industry. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders alike. You thrive in a remote-first environment and are comfortable using various digital tools to manage your workflow and customer interactions. You are results-driven, always looking for ways to exceed targets and contribute to the overall success of the organization. You understand the importance of data in sales and are adept at managing forecasts and tracking customer data to inform your strategies.

Desirable

Experience in the open-source software space or familiarity with observability tools would be a significant advantage. A background in working with large-scale organizations or enterprise clients can help you navigate complex sales cycles effectively. Familiarity with Grafana's products or similar technologies will enable you to engage with customers more effectively and provide tailored solutions.

What you'll do

As the Growth Account Director at Grafana, you will be responsible for identifying, nurturing, and closing opportunities with existing customers across the US. You will leverage your consultative sales approach to understand customer needs deeply, ensuring that you can present Grafana's solutions in a way that resonates with them. You will manage forecasts and track customer data meticulously, using this information to inform your sales strategies and improve customer engagement.
