You have a strong background in strategy and planning, with at least 5 years of experience in analytics or a related field — you've developed and maintained planning models that drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency. Your expertise in SQL allows you to extract and analyze data effectively, providing insights that inform strategic initiatives. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and scalability in planning processes.

You are detail-oriented and possess excellent problem-solving skills — you can identify trends and anomalies in data, translating complex information into actionable recommendations. Your communication skills are top-notch, enabling you to present findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels. You are comfortable working in a remote-first culture and are adept at managing your time and priorities effectively.

Desirable

Experience with Pigment or similar planning tools is a plus, as is familiarity with observability strategies and tools like Grafana. A background in tech or SaaS companies would be beneficial, as it helps you understand the unique challenges and opportunities in this space.

What you'll do

In this role, you will maintain and enhance Grafana's core planning and capacity models, ensuring they are robust and scalable as the organization grows. You will build analytics that measure go-to-market productivity, providing the data foundation for workforce planning decisions. Collaborating with Data, Field Ops, and Finance teams, you will ensure that planning processes are efficient and effective, adapting to the evolving needs of the business.

You will interface with various departments to gather insights and feedback, using this information to refine models and analytics. Your work will directly impact Grafana's strategic initiatives, helping the company to optimize its resources and drive growth. You will also be involved in identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices across the organization.
