Overview

Guidepoint is hiring an Associate Vice President for their Institutional Sales team in Sydney. You'll develop sales strategies and build relationships with financial institutions in the ANZ market. This role requires 4 to 6 years of B2B sales experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 4 to 6 years of experience in new business development, ideally with a focus on B2B selling within the research or financial sectors. Your expertise in selling to global and regional financial institutions, particularly in the ANZ market, sets you apart. You are an excellent communicator, capable of handling high-profile clients and establishing effective relationships. You thrive in a demanding environment and are driven to achieve revenue targets through strategic sales planning.

What you'll do

In this role, you will help develop a sales strategy designed to achieve revenue targets as part of the regional and global sales team. You will proactively seek new opportunities and engage in strategic sales and account management planning from concept to execution across the institutional sector in Australia. Building and maintaining relationships with prospective clients across the spectrum of institutional and investment firm clients will be a key focus. You will also communicate market developments to the marketing and client service teams, ensuring alignment and responsiveness to client needs.
