Who you are
You are a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for health and safety in the workplace. You have a structured approach to your work and are eager to support your team in implementing health and safety programs. Your role as a Health and Safety Coordinator will involve conducting risk assessments and promoting a sustainable safety culture at HelloFresh's production site in Barleben.
You are committed to ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and legal requirements. As a member of the safety committee, you will participate in regular safety inspections and audits, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. You are also skilled in investigating workplace incidents and near misses, helping to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
What you'll do
In your role, you will take on the responsibilities of a safety officer, coordinating safety measures during shifts and ensuring that first aid procedures are properly executed. You will assist in the development, implementation, and review of emergency and evacuation plans, participating in emergency drills to ensure preparedness. Your duties will also include planning and conducting safety training sessions for employees, ensuring that everyone is informed about safety practices and protocols.
You will conduct safety checks on equipment and tools, ensuring that all safety and emergency equipment is ready for use. Regular risk assessments will be part of your responsibilities, where you will identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate risks. Your proactive approach will contribute significantly to fostering a culture of safety within the organization.
