You have at least 1 year of experience in B2B, outside, or field sales — you've developed the skills to prospect and cold call effectively, building relationships with small business owners in your territory. You're coachable, resilient, and goal-oriented, with excellent communication and presentation skills that allow you to engage clients effectively. Your consultative selling mindset enables you to conduct needs-based consultations and deliver customized digital marketing solutions that truly meet client needs.
You thrive in a territory-based role, working independently while managing your own book of business. Your strong prospecting and cold-calling abilities help you identify potential clients and convert leads into long-term partnerships. You understand the importance of maintaining long-term client relationships through proactive account management, ensuring that clients receive ongoing support and value from your services.
What you'll do
As an Outside Sales Representative at Hibu, you'll take charge of a protected territory where you'll spend your days meeting local business owners face to face. Your primary responsibility will be to prospect and cold call small business owners, conducting needs-based consultations to deliver customized digital marketing solutions. You'll sell a full suite of products, including websites, search engine marketing (SEM/PPC), search engine optimization (SEO), social media advertising, display advertising, and reviews & reputation management.
You'll deliver both virtual and in-person sales presentations, showcasing the value of Hibu's offerings and how they can help businesses grow. Building and managing your own book of business will be crucial, as you'll earn recurring residual commissions based on the success of your clients. You'll also track your activity and pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring that you stay organized and focused on your sales goals.
