You have a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly in high-velocity environments where closing multiple deals daily is the norm. Your experience includes building and managing sales teams, and you thrive on the challenge of driving growth in a startup atmosphere. You understand the unique needs of small businesses and are passionate about helping them succeed through innovative solutions.

You possess strong operational skills, enabling you to create effective processes and dashboards that enhance team performance. Your ability to hire and coach sales representatives will be crucial as you build a team that embodies the values of Homebase. You are data-driven, using insights to refine sales strategies and improve outcomes.

What you'll do

As the Founding Sales Leader, you will spearhead the establishment of a new sales hub in Toronto, focusing on our AI-powered hiring product. Your role will involve personally selling to small businesses while simultaneously developing the sales operating system that will support your team. You will be responsible for defining the sales approach for our AI solutions, ensuring that it resonates with busy small business owners.

You will hire and train the first wave of sales representatives, instilling a culture of excellence and accountability. Your leadership will be pivotal in turning early traction into a scalable revenue engine, as you work closely with customers to understand their needs and how our product can meet them. You will analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities, continuously refining your strategies to maximize impact.
