You are eager to start your career in tech sales and have a strong desire to engage with potential clients. While sales or prospecting experience is a plus, it is not a requirement. You are comfortable using various communication methods, including calls, emails, and social media to connect with prospects. You understand the importance of learning about customers' business challenges to effectively communicate how HubSpot can provide solutions.

You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working closely with Account Executives to develop innovative strategies for uncovering new opportunities. You are motivated by meeting monthly goals and are willing to conduct high-volume prospecting to identify qualified leads. Your commitment to understanding customer needs and challenges will help you succeed in this role.

What you'll do

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for conducting high-volume prospecting to generate new interest in HubSpot's offerings. You will engage with potential clients through calls, emails, and social media messaging, aiming to identify qualified prospects. Once you have established a connection, your goal will be to communicate the value of HubSpot effectively and schedule deeper conversations with Account Executives.

You will collaborate with 2-3 Account Executives, developing and implementing appropriate prospect strategies and plans. Your role will also involve carrying out market research to broaden HubSpot's customer base. You will learn and apply sales methodologies, such as BANT, to understand customer needs and challenges better. This position offers a great opportunity to grow your skills in tech sales while contributing to HubSpot's success.
