Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales management, ideally with experience in the grocery or eCommerce sectors. Your leadership style is collaborative, and you excel at coaching team members to achieve their sales targets. You understand the complexities of brand partnerships and have a keen insight into the consumer packaged goods (CPG) landscape. You are data-driven, using analytics to inform your strategies and decisions, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment where adaptability is key.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with both your team and external partners. You are passionate about transforming the grocery industry and are motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on customers' lives. Your experience includes managing teams of sales professionals, providing them with the tools and guidance they need to succeed.
What you'll do
As a Sales Manager at Instacart, you will lead a team of approximately six Sales Associates/Sales Executives, guiding them in developing and nurturing brand relationships. You will provide day-to-day coaching on sales best practices and data analysis, ensuring your team is equipped to meet their goals. You will collaborate closely with other departments to align strategies and drive growth in the mid-market segment.
Your responsibilities will include setting sales targets, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing strategies to enhance team effectiveness. You will analyze market trends and customer feedback to refine your approach and ensure that your team is responsive to the evolving needs of the market. Additionally, you will play a key role in fostering a positive team culture that encourages collaboration and innovation.
