Instructure is hiring an Account Executive for their Business and Government Sales Team. You'll focus on driving sales and building relationships in the education sector. This role requires experience in sales and a passion for helping others succeed.

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the education or government sectors — your experience has equipped you with the skills to build strong relationships and drive growth. You understand the nuances of selling to diverse audiences and can tailor your approach to meet their unique needs.

You are a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for growth and develop plans to capitalize on them — your analytical skills allow you to assess market trends and adjust your strategies accordingly. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

Your communication skills are exceptional — you can articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively, whether in written proposals or face-to-face meetings. You are comfortable presenting to stakeholders at all levels and can engage them effectively.

You are passionate about education and personal development — you believe in the power of learning to transform lives and are motivated to help others succeed in their educational journeys. You stay informed about industry trends and are eager to share insights with your team.

Desirable

Experience in a SaaS sales environment would be a plus, as would familiarity with CRM tools and sales methodologies. A background in education technology or government sales can set you apart from other candidates.

What you'll do

As an Account Executive at Instructure, you will be responsible for driving sales within the Business and Government Sales Team — your primary focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. You will engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions that align with their goals.

You will collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns — your insights will help shape the messaging and positioning of Instructure's products in the market. You will also participate in industry events and conferences to network and promote Instructure's offerings.

Your role will involve maintaining relationships with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities — you will be their trusted advisor, providing ongoing support and guidance as they navigate their educational journeys.

You will track your sales activities and performance metrics, using data to inform your strategies and improve your results — your ability to analyze data will help you make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
