You have at least 1 year of experience in a sales or business development role, where you've honed your skills in identifying potential clients and understanding their needs. You are a proactive communicator who enjoys engaging with prospects and building relationships. Your ability to work collaboratively with account executives will be key in developing effective prospecting strategies. You appreciate the importance of accountability and effort in achieving sales goals, and you thrive in a team-oriented environment.

What you'll do

As an Outbound Business Development Representative at Klaviyo, you will be the first point of contact in the sales cycle, playing a crucial role in generating opportunities for the sales team. You will identify high potential companies that can benefit from Klaviyo's solutions and partner closely with experienced Mid-Market Account Executives to execute effective prospecting strategies. Your responsibilities will include developing, testing, and iterating messaging across various channels and industries to engage potential clients effectively. You will also contribute learnings and best practices to the outbound process, supporting the success of your peers and reflecting Klaviyo's values of accountability and effort.
