Who you are
You have a strong background in business development and team management, with experience in recruiting, training, and developing sales teams. You understand the importance of setting and achieving specific business goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Your leadership style emphasizes coaching and providing constructive feedback to help your team members grow and succeed.
You are knowledgeable about e-commerce best practices and can effectively educate your team on how to activate new customers. You have experience working cross-functionally with marketing and other departments to refine processes and define pipeline goals. You are adept at monitoring market trends and using that information to inform your team's strategies.
What you'll do
As the Commercial BDR Manager at Klaviyo, you will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training new staff members. You will meet one-on-one with your direct reports to provide coaching and feedback, ensuring they are equipped to meet their business development goals. You will also be responsible for conducting performance evaluations and handling any necessary disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy.
In this role, you will work closely with other departments, particularly marketing, to ensure alignment on business objectives and strategies. You will define pipeline goals and provide sales coaching to your team, helping them navigate the e-commerce landscape effectively.
