Who you are
You have a strong background in customer success, ideally with experience in a technical environment where you have acted as a primary point of contact for customers. You understand the importance of building relationships and advocating for customer needs, ensuring they receive the maximum value from the products they use. You are comfortable engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, from developers to executives, and can communicate effectively across different levels of an organization.
You possess a proactive mindset, always looking for ways to enhance customer satisfaction and drive product adoption. Your ability to validate customer needs and identify potential challenges allows you to guide them through the onboarding process smoothly. You are detail-oriented and can document customer use cases and roadmaps effectively, ensuring that their journey with Kong is well-structured and successful.
What you'll do
As a Senior Customer Success Manager at Kong, you will engage with customers primarily through inbound requests, supporting them in their onboarding process by validating their needs and identifying key project timelines. You will drive the adoption and implementation of Kong product features by leading hands-on product demonstrations and technical workshop sessions. Periodic reviews of Kong implementations through health checks will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to ensure that customers are utilizing the platform effectively.
You will work closely with customers to explore new use cases and expand their usage of Kongβs API platform, building active and meaningful relationships that foster long-term success. Your role will involve understanding and documenting the customerβs architecture and roadmap, advocating for their needs within Kong, and ensuring they achieve the greatest value from the products.
