Who you are

You are a hands-on leader with a proven track record in sales development, capable of managing and inspiring a team of up to eight Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). Your leadership style is approachable and credible, allowing you to build strong relationships within your team and across the organization. You understand the importance of career growth and are committed to developing top performers into future Account Executives. You have experience in the ANZ market and are adaptable to support additional territories as needed.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to ensure effective territory coverage and messaging. Your ability to motivate and engage your team is key to fostering a high-performance culture where SDRs feel supported in their career aspirations. You are results-driven, with a focus on achieving pipeline targets and driving conversions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and inspire your team of SDRs, creating a culture of high performance and engagement. You will directly manage the team, providing coaching and enablement to prepare them for future roles. Your responsibilities will include driving your team’s contribution to the APJ pipeline targets, ensuring consistent attainment of meetings and opportunities. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to align on messaging and territory strategies, ensuring that your team is well-equipped to succeed.

You will also be responsible for developing training programs that enhance the skills of your SDRs, preparing them for advancement within the company. Your leadership will be crucial in building a close-knit team that collaborates effectively, sharing best practices and supporting one another in achieving their goals. As a key member of the SDR leadership team, you will report directly to the APJ SDR Leadership and contribute to the overall strategy and success of the sales development function at Kong.
