Who you are

You have a proven track record in business development, particularly in acquiring and scaling high-performing partnerships. With at least 5 years of experience, you excel in driving outbound prospecting and identifying new revenue opportunities. Your data-driven approach allows you to make informed decisions that lead to successful partnerships. You are comfortable negotiating customer sales agreements and conducting business meetings with leadership to pursue profitable referral opportunities. Your ability to consult with partners to improve their success and maximize revenue per referral sets you apart. You are proficient in using Salesforce to track account pipeline statuses and lead volume projections, ensuring that you stay organized and focused on your goals.

Desirable

Experience in the financial services or technology sectors is a plus, as is familiarity with affiliate marketing strategies. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to a team that values diversity and inclusion. Your strong communication skills enable you to build relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will report to the Director of Marketing Partnerships and be responsible for expanding LendingTree’s strategic partnerships. You will hunt and prospect to find relevant lead providing companies and partners, identifying and establishing relationships with decision-makers within a defined target list. You will develop, direct, and negotiate customer sales agreements, ensuring that all parties are aligned on expectations and outcomes. Conducting business meetings with lenders’ leadership will be a key part of your role as you pursue new profitable referral opportunities and product developments to increase market share.

You will provide implementation support and training to partners regarding LendingTree’s policies, procedures, products, programs, and technology. Your consultative approach will help partners improve their success and maximize their revenue per referral. Utilizing Salesforce, you will track account pipeline statuses and lead volume projections, ensuring that you have a clear view of your progress and can adjust your strategies as needed. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams to align on partnership goals and ensure that all initiatives are executed smoothly.
