Who you are
You have a strong background in technical recruiting, ideally with experience in fast-paced environments. You understand the nuances of hiring for software, machine learning, and infrastructure roles, and you are comfortable partnering with senior engineering leaders to define hiring strategies. Your experience includes sourcing candidates through creative methods and leveraging talent intelligence to build a robust pipeline. You are passionate about the intersection of labor markets and AI, and you are excited about the opportunity to contribute to a company that is shaping the future of work.
Desirable
Experience in early-stage startups or as a founding recruiter is a plus. A technical degree or professional experience in engineering will help you understand the roles you are hiring for better. You are interested in the human data and AGI space, which aligns with Mercor's mission.
What you'll do
As a Technical Recruiter at Mercor, you will own the full-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing candidates to closing offers. You will collaborate closely with the VP of Engineering and CTO to define headcount plans and improve hiring processes. Your role will involve building a top-of-funnel talent pipeline using innovative outreach strategies and leveraging Mercor's own product for structured candidate assessments. You will play a key role in shaping the engineering organization as Mercor continues to scale rapidly, ensuring that the company attracts and retains top talent in the AI and technology sectors.
