Who you are

You have a strong background in technical sales, ideally with 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer role or similar. Your expertise in APIs allows you to engage deeply with customers, guiding them through technical discovery and integration planning. You possess excellent critical thinking skills and a consultative approach to problem-solving, enabling you to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams alike.

Your experience includes working with fintech companies or complex enterprise buyers, where you've successfully navigated technical conversations and helped clients achieve their goals. You are comfortable creating technical enablement content and reusable solution frameworks, ensuring that both your team and customers have the resources they need to succeed.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy partnering with engineering and product teams to deliver seamless solutions. Your ability to build technical champions within customer organizations sets you apart, as you understand the importance of fostering strong relationships to drive success.

Desirable

Experience with observability and data platforms like Datadog is a plus, as is a history of working with lenders and financial institutions. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies, continuously seeking ways to improve your skills and the solutions you provide.

What you'll do

As a Solutions Engineer at Method Financial, you will play a crucial role in improving our technical sales and expansion efforts. You will engage with customers early in the sales process, conducting technical discovery sessions to understand their needs and challenges. Your goal is to help prospects reach a 'technical yes' faster, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation.

You will collaborate closely with our sales team, providing them with the technical insights they need to effectively communicate our solutions to potential clients. Your expertise in APIs will be invaluable as you guide customers through the integration planning process, ensuring they have a clear understanding of how our technology can meet their needs.

In addition to working directly with customers, you will also partner with our engineering and product teams to provide feedback on customer requirements and help shape the development of our solutions. Your insights will contribute to the continuous improvement of our products and services, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the fintech industry.

You will be responsible for creating technical enablement content that empowers both our sales team and customers. This includes developing reusable solution frameworks that can be leveraged across various customer engagements, streamlining the sales process and enhancing customer satisfaction.
