Who you are
You have 2+ years of experience in business development, lead generation, or a related role — you've engaged with customers and understand the nuances of outbound sales. Your educational background includes an Associate degree, with a preference for a Bachelor's in Business, Marketing, or IT. You possess customer-facing experience and familiarity with SaaS or analytics solutions, which equips you to effectively communicate the value of Minitab's offerings.
You are a proactive communicator who thrives in a collaborative environment — you enjoy working closely with sales teams to identify business needs and qualify interest in analytics solutions. Your ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with business prospects is a key strength, enabling you to support the transition of qualified leads to the sales team.
What you'll do
As a Sales Development Representative at Minitab, you will play a critical role in generating enterprise-level pipeline and revenue through outbound prospecting. You will engage prospects via phone, email, and social platforms, identifying their business needs and qualifying their interest in our analytics solutions. Your role will involve building and nurturing long-term relationships with business prospects, ensuring a smooth transition of qualified leads to the sales team. You will participate in continuous sales training and development, equipping yourself with the skills necessary to grow into an Account Manager position, where you will manage your own book of business and drive direct revenue.
