Who you are
You have 2+ years of experience in business development, lead generation, or a related role — you've engaged with prospects and understand the nuances of outbound sales. Your background includes customer-facing experience, ideally in SaaS or analytics solutions, which has equipped you with the skills to identify business needs effectively.
You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to engage prospects via phone, email, and social platforms. You are eager to build and nurture long-term relationships with business prospects, understanding that these connections are vital for success in tech sales.
You are looking to build a career in tech sales and are motivated by the opportunity to grow into an Account Manager position, where you can manage your own book of business and drive direct revenue. You are open to continuous learning and development, participating in sales training to enhance your skills.
What you'll do
As a Sales Development Representative at Minitab, you will play a critical role in generating enterprise-level pipeline and revenue through outbound prospecting. You will work closely with the enterprise and global sales team to qualify leads from targeted campaigns and account mining efforts. Your responsibilities will include engaging prospects via various communication channels, identifying their business needs, and qualifying their interest in our analytics solutions.
You will build and nurture long-term relationships with business prospects, supporting the transition of qualified leads to the sales team. Your role will involve participating in continuous sales training and development, ensuring you are well-equipped to meet the demands of the position and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
