Who you are

You have 5-8 years of proven work experience in sourcing and product development, particularly in the apparel industry. Your familiarity with sourcing and vendor management allows you to navigate complex market dynamics with sound business judgment. You possess strong communication and negotiation skills, enabling you to build and sustain networking relationships effectively. You are comfortable with figures and have a knack for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to drive decisions. A degree in garment textiles is a plus, enhancing your understanding of the industry.

What you'll do

In this role, you will execute seasonal and short-term sourcing plans, utilizing your knowledge of apparel sourcing to meet various requirements including financial, customer service, quality, aesthetic, safety, and terms of engagement. You will communicate capacity and price requirements to ensure line margin and delivery targets are met. Collaborating closely with merchandising and design teams, you will provide alternatives to meet commercial requirements at competitive costs. Your responsibilities will also include managing a high-performing vendor team, ensuring that current and future business needs are met. You will be accountable for tracking adoption rates and driving your team to meet Go-To-Market deadlines, using your influence to achieve milestones. Additionally, you will analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
