Who you are
You are a results-oriented sales professional with a strong track record in driving revenue growth, particularly in the SLED (State, Local, and Education) sector. You thrive in environments where you can make valuable contributions from day one, and you are eager to learn and grow within your role. You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively represent Okta in a professional manner to develop and win new clients.
You have experience managing the sales process from initial demonstrations to closing deals, and you enjoy the challenge of both acquiring new customers and expanding relationships with existing ones. Your ability to organize and conduct sales presentations, site visits, and product demonstrations sets you apart as a candidate who can effectively engage with prospects and clients alike.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the sales process for midsize customers, specifically those with 2,000 employees and below. You will be responsible for driving the sales process from demo to close, ensuring that you meet and exceed sales targets. You will conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations, showcasing the value of Okta's identity solutions to potential clients.
You will also be tasked with managing and expanding a book of install base customers, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the services provided. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams within Okta to ensure a seamless sales experience for clients. You will report directly to the Area Sales Director and play a vital role in driving a significant share of revenue for the company.
