Who you are
You are an energetic and results-driven individual with a proven track record in SaaS sales, particularly in engaging high-level executives across State and Local entities in the US. You possess strong leadership skills and initiative, allowing you to manage complex sales processes effectively. Your ability to generate new business and build relationships is complemented by your strategic, consultative, and value-based selling approach.
You have experience in territory management and are adept at building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline. Your communication skills enable you to engage with prospects confidently, positioning Smartling's solutions effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to maximize customer success and revenue generation.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the entire sales process from lead generation and discovery to contract negotiation and closing deals with multiple C-Level stakeholders. You will be responsible for delivering against all revenue targets and key performance metrics, ensuring over-achievement through a combination of cold calling, email campaigns, and market sector intelligence. You will represent Smartling at industry events, showcasing the company's innovative solutions and building brand awareness.
Your responsibilities will include engaging with prospects to position Smartling's solutions strategically, demonstrating ownership of all aspects of territory management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer success. You will leverage your market knowledge to identify opportunities for growth and contribute to the overall success of the sales team.
