Who you are

You are an experienced Advanced Practice Provider with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospitalist setting, either as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. You have a strong background in hematology and oncology, and you thrive in a collaborative environment where you work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care. Your hands-on clinical experience allows you to manage complex hematologic cases effectively, ensuring continuity of care for your patients.

You possess the necessary board certifications (NP-C/PA-C) and have a solid understanding of inpatient care dynamics. Your experience as an RN or APP in a hospitalist role has equipped you with the skills to navigate the challenges of a fast-paced healthcare environment. You are committed to patient-centered care and are passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of patients with complex needs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for seeing patients in the hospital setting, focusing primarily on hematology cases. You will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans that support the continuity of care. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing education to patients and their families about their conditions and treatment options.

You will play a crucial role in managing patient care in a private practice setting, ensuring that each patient receives personalized attention and high-quality treatment. Your ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team will be essential as you coordinate care and communicate with other healthcare providers. You will also have the opportunity to participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of treatment options for patients with hematologic conditions.
