OneOncology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join their inpatient oncology team in Nashville, TN. You'll provide high-quality care to hospitalized patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses. This role requires 1-2+ years of APP experience and hospitalist experience.
Job Description
Who you are
You are an experienced Advanced Practice Provider with 1-2+ years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in hematology and oncology. You possess the ability to manage complex inpatient cases and are skilled in clinical assessment and acute care management. Your strong collaboration skills enable you to work effectively with physicians, APPs, RNs, and hospital staff, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
You have a solid understanding of the challenges faced by hospitalized patients with hematologic and oncologic diagnoses. Your experience has equipped you with the knowledge to address treatment-related side effects and provide palliative care. You are comfortable working independently while also valuing teamwork and communication within a multidisciplinary team.
What you'll do
In this role, you will join the inpatient oncology team at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN. Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality care to hospitalized patients, managing complications of malignancy and overseeing patients admitted for chemotherapy. You will apply evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their needs. Your role will involve addressing treatment-related side effects and providing support to patients and their families during challenging times. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of clinical protocols and best practices within the organization.
