OpenAI is hiring an Account Director to lead enterprise customer journeys and develop strategies for AI deployment. You'll collaborate with researchers and engineers to drive value for clients. This position requires a mix of technical understanding and strategic vision.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales and account management, ideally with experience in technology or AI solutions. Your ability to understand complex technical concepts allows you to effectively communicate the value of AI to enterprise clients. You are skilled in developing and executing comprehensive account strategies that drive customer success and satisfaction.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including sales, solutions, and engineering. Your experience managing key accounts has equipped you with the skills to navigate the entire sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closure. You are a strategic thinker, able to identify opportunities and develop tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of each client.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage approximately five key accounts, guiding them from ideation to successful deployment of AI solutions. You will lead enterprise customers through their journey, ensuring they understand the deep impact that AI can have on their business. Your responsibilities will include developing account plans, executing strategies, and collaborating with researchers and engineers to create valuable solutions.

You will be a key driver of opportunities, working to generate new business while nurturing existing relationships. Your role will involve understanding customer needs, providing insights, and ensuring compliance with job posting standards. You will also be responsible for reporting on account performance and identifying areas for improvement.
